Assessment of biosecurity measures implemented on the broiler farms in the region of Belgrade city

The implementation of biosecurity measures as the first line defense is an essential prerequisite for preventing occurrence and spread infectious agents in flocks. Assessment on farms was carried out during farm visits based application appropriate questionnaire whereby farmer answered a number questions regarding implemented measures. study performed via Biocheck.UGent online survey 16 broiler region city Belgrade. capacity 25,000-100,000 broilers, placed 2-4 houses, depending farm. Farm were made by authors to confirm correct answers survey. Results showed that external scores ranged from 57% 93%, averaging 83.6%. Internal score 48% 98%, with average 85.7%. total assessment 56% 84.3%. subcategories varied between farms.
